Lisbon: Lisbon City Tour

Enjoy this half day tour of Lisbon where you will see the main sites of this beautiful city Lisbon

Lisbon is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. This tour will take you across the 25th April Bridge to Belem, which is the historical section of Lisbon. Here you can admire Torre de Belem, ex-libris of Lisbon and jewel of “manueline” art. You will then be taken to the Padrao dos Descobrimentos, a modern monument dedicated to the Portuguese maritime discoveries, followed by a visit of the church at the Monasteiro dos Jeronimos. After that you will visit the Coach Museum, which is home to one of the best coach collections in Europe. Along the river you will arrive at Alfama, an old traditional district, where you will have the opportunity to walk in its narrow streets and visit a handicraft shop where you taste an aperitif of Porto wine. You will continue to Praca do Comercio, the biggest and most beautiful square in Lisbon Baixa-Rosso in the center of the town and finally to Avenida da liberdade and Marques de Pombal.

Lisbon: Full Day Lisbon and Sintra, Cascais & Estoril

This tour takes you across 25th April Bridge to Belem, Lisbon's historical section. Here you can admire Torre de Belem. Then we go to the Padrao dos Descobrimentos, a monument dedicated to Portuguese maritime discoveries. Visit the church at Monasteiro dos Jeronimos and the Coach Museum. Arrive at Alfama, an old and traditional district, where you have the opportunity to walk in its narrow street and visit a handicraft shop where you taste an aperitif of Port wine. Then pass by downtown (Baixa) to admire the most important squares of Lisbon such as the monumental Praca do Comercio, Rossio Square and Restauradores Square. Drive along the Liberdade Avenue to Pombal Square. After lunch we proceed to Sintra, visit the charming village and taste the delicious local sweets in the tea-rooms: "queijadas" and "travesseiros.” Then arrive at Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point in continental Europe. Along the coast, passing by Guincho beach, Boca do Inferno a grotto created by the sea erosion, arriving then to cosmopolitan Cascais where you will take a glimpse over the bay, return via Estoril where you can have a panoramic view of the Casino and its gardens.

Lisbon: Full Day Fatima, Obidos, Nazare, Batalha & Alcobac 

Enjoy a tour through the area north of Lisbon, going to the World famous Fatima, Nazare, Obidos and Alcobaca Obidos Mediaeval Fair

Duration of tour: 10 hours 30 minutes

Leaving Lisbon, we drive northwards and arrive at our first point of the visit: the beautiful walled town of Obidos with its narrowed streets and the Pousada do Castelo. We then drive to Alcobaca where we can visit the twelfth century Church of the Monastery with the tombs of Pedro and Ines de Castro. We drive to Nazare, the most colorful Portuguese fishing village, where we stop for lunch. If possible, we will go to the Sitio for a panoramic view of the beach and village. In the afternoon we go to Batalha Monastery, a masterpiece of Gothic considered a heritage of humanity by UNESCO. Finally we arrive at Fatima's Sanctuary—center of Christian faith and a place of world pilgrimage, to visit the Basilica where the tombstone of Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco are, as well as the Chapel of Apparitions, heart of the shrine. Eventually we will have time to attend the mass. At the end of the day we will return to Lisbon through the colorful farming region.

Lisbon: Half Day Sintra, Cabo da Roca, Estoril & Cascais

This half day tour will start with a visit to Sintra, a magnificent village where the Royal Family used to live during the summer. It will be possible to taste the delicious local sweets in the tea-rooms: "queijadas" and "travesseiros". Then you will drive through Sintra's range where its luxuriant and exuberant vegetation is to be seen, arriving at Cabo da Roca the westernmost point in continental Europe. Along the coast, passing by the Guincho beach, Boca do Inferno a grotto created by the rain and sea erosion, always with a sea view enjoying the landscape until the cosmopolitan Cascais where you take a glimpse over the bay. Return by Estoril where we can have a panoramic view of the Casino and its gardens.

You will start by taking a panoramic visit of Lisbon by night to understand the roots of the Portuguese "Alma Lusitana" (Portuguese soul). Driving down the Liberdade Avenue, we find the most symbolic squares of the city: Praca dos Restauradores, Rossio and Praca do Comercio. Then along the river, enjoying a splendid view of the bridge, we reach Belem quarter where you will be impressed by the magnificence and richness of its monuments that date back to the discoveries time: S. Jerome Monastery and Belem Tower. Then in a typical restaurant we enjoy a one course dinner and a typical Fado show. The Fado, nostalgic and melancholic song accompanied by the Portuguese and Spanish guitars, and the folk dances with colorful costumes and live movements are deep expressions of the Portuguese soul.
