We travel southwards along the Autostrada del Sole and arrive in Naples to board the jetfoil for the island of Capri. Upon arrival (and weather permitting) we visit the Blue Grotto, a miracle of equilibrium between water, light and reflections of the wonderful sea-floors. Returning to Marina Grande we proceed by minibus to Anacapri for lunch. Then there will be free time for shopping and it’s back to Marina Grande to embark for Naples.

Traveling through the Roman countryside we reach Tivoli, built on the slopes of the Sabine Hills. We visit Villa Adriana, built by the Emperor Hadrian in the second Century B.C. It is made up of the imperial palace, baths, libraries, and gardens and is full of masterpieces and pools worthy of a country residence of the great Emperor Hadrian. A short drive then takes us to the Villa d’Este, one of the most enchanting examples of late Renaissance architecture. Home to Lucretia Borgia’s son, it is famous for its gardens, marvelous fountains, waterfalls and centenary trees.

Where better to hold a symbolic ceremony with the person you love than in one of the most romantic cities in the world? A professional photographer will also be there to greet you. Walk through the pleasant hustle and bustle of the Venetian streets to the gondolas situated on the Grand Canal. Once on the gondola (accompanied by the photographer and the official), your ride will begin on the incomparable Grand Canal. Reach the Accademia Bridge, then the gondolier will turn into some smaller, tranquil canals where the ceremony will take place. Surrounded by Venetian palaces and the calm of the water, you will repeat your vows to one another. As part of the ceremony, during the exchange of rings, you will hear an extract of a poem by Robert Browning, who lived in Venice for a while. You will receive an elegant Certificate with date and place of the ceremony and your names. The stables cater to riders of all abilities and beginners are very welcome, as previous riding experience is not essential. Continue with a visit to Vernazza, arguably the most beautiful of the five villages. Your journey from Manarola to Vernazza will be by boat. For logistical reasons, your local driver guide will escort you as far as Manarola and will make sure you are on-board the boat for Vernazza before parting company. Then he will meet you again in Vernazza after you have had time to explore the town. Before heading back to Florence, we will drive up to Corniglia, the only one of the Cinque Terre towns not located directly on the water. The terraced hills are covered with vineyards that remind visitors of Corniglia's famous wine that has been produced here since ancient times. In fact, the wine was so famous in ancient times that vases excavated at Pompeii boasted its virtues.
