Vienna: City Tour and Schonbrunn Palace

The Cafe' Restaurant “Residenz,” which used to be the imperial palace kitchen of Schonbrunn Palace, is located at the Court of Honor, next door to the main entrance of the palace. Here you will enjoy a 3 course seasonal dinner. After dinner, a classical concert will be performed at the “Orangerie” Schonbrunn. This very professionally performed classical concert is in two halves with orchestra playing Mozart in the first half and Strauss in the second. 

Vienna: Vienna Woods & Mayerling

Enjoy the beautiful scenery of southern Vienna Woods and visit the subterranean “Seegrotte.”

This tour will take you to the southern part of the Vienna Woods, passing by the roman city of Baden, before we reach Mayerling, where we visit the convent—the former hunting-lodge of Crown Prince Rudolph. The tour continues with a visit to the Abbey of Heiligenkreuz where you will see the tomb of the Babengerd Family. Finally you will visit the “Seegrotte,” or “Seagrotto” for a boat ride on Europe's largest subterranean lake before returning to Vienna where the tour will end at the Opera House.

Vienna: Wachau

This tour takes us along the Danube Valley and includes a visit to the impressive Baroque Benedictine Abbey at Melk.

This is a full day excursion to the magnificent Danube Valley, also known as the “Wachau” (listed Unesco World Cultural Heritage). The tour arrives at Melk for a visit of the impressive Baroque Benedictine Abbey, located high above the Danube. Then the tour returns to Vienna passing by the medieval village of Durnstein and the charming town of Krems. Tour ends at the Opera House.

During the first part of the tour you relive the true story of the Von Trapp family which was filmed as the "Sound of Music" in the Salzburg area. This tour is a combination of the historical city of Salzburg itself and the beautiful Lakes and Mountains area where you will see the highlights and film locations like the Palace of Leopoldskron, the gazebo at the Palace of Hellbrunn, city St. Gilgen and the collegiate church of Mondsee. The second part of the tour leads you to one of the oldest salt mines in the world. You are accompanied through the tunnel by miners and also get interesting information to the extraction of the salt by the Archbishop Wolf Dietrich (1587-1612) personally on a screen. Then you will have a short trip on a boat across an underground lake. On this tour we drive from Salzburg over the Durrnberg mountain pass, with its Miner's Chapel, crossing the German border to reach Obersalzberg. From here a specially constructed bus drives you up the steep mountain road to a parking area. Then you walk a short distance through a tunnel into the mountain to the elaborate elevator which takes you up the Eagle's Nest, formerly a meeting place for Hitler and his diplomatic guests. A spectacular view of the entire Salzach Valley and the Bavarian Alps awaits you. On return we make a short stop at the picturesque market town of Berchtesgaden.

Salzburg: Budapest

Cross the border into Hungary and continue to the magnificent Budapest for a sightseeing tour.

This day trip takes you to the “Paris of the East.” After arrival in Budapest, there is free time for lunch (not included). In the early afternoon, there is a guided city tour of Hungary's capital, where we will visit the Fishermen's Bastion with Mathias Church. You will also have the opportunity to stroll around the castle area. We then pass by the impressive House of Parliament and Heroes Square. Before the drive back to Vienna, there will be some free time for shopping.

Salzburg:Salzburg & Mozart Excursion

Pass through the beautiful Salzkammergut area en route to Mozart's historical city of Salzburg.

Duration of tour: 12 hours

This full day trip takes you to the beautiful “Salzkammergut,” lake district and to Salzburg, the capital of music festivals. On the highway, towards the West of Austria, we reach Gmunden and pass by the impressive mountain region of the Lake District with its small picturesque towns. After arrival in Salzburg, there is some free time to enjoy lunch (not included). Salzburg:Prague Excursion

A full day tour to the romantic and historical Czech capital. 

Duration of tour: 12 hours

We drive through the Bohemian countryside to reach Prague, the “Golden City.” After arrival, there is a short break and possibility for lunch (not included). In the early afternoon, the tour will include Prague's main sights. After this, a walking tour of the Old Town passes Venceslav Square, Tyn Cathedral, the Old Town Hall with its famous Astronomical Clock and Charles Bridge. Finally, drive to the castle area and visit the “Hradschin,” passing by Saint Vitus Cathedral and the Golden Lane.
