Pisa and Florence are getting closer: now you can travel from Pisa to Florence and back in only 49 minutes by train for the same price as always: Euro 5,80 (second class) or Euro 8,70 (first class). How is that possible if a normal trip normally lasts 1:30 hour?
There’s no high speed train, no Freccia Rossa, Freccia Argento or a new line. It’s more simple than that: if a normal Regional stops in several small stations, Regional Veloce don’t.
